It’s an interesting time, with unforeseen opportunities presenting themselves. How can we take advantage of this unique situation?
Before COVID, many of us wished we could:
Work more often from home.
Spend more time with our families.
Live in a nicer, quieter, more scenic area – but didn’t get around to it.
Some of us couldn’t fathom investing interstate: how could we plough a whole lot of money into a place if we can’t see it or drop in to check up on it?
Now we’ve been given the opportunity to work from home. Whether or not we like it, for some it will be our way of life.
We have more time with our families. Perhaps so much, sometimes we could do with a little less time (particularly homeschooling).
And that want of a nice place to live? We hear you. The place where we live matters more if we are going to be working from home. Relax. Entertain. Get outdoors to exercise in naturally stunning locations within 5km from home. Stay sane with the kids around…
When it comes to investing, it can be a tougher mindset shift. Common thoughts:
“We want it to be close to home”
“We can’t possibly invest interstate”
“Who would move to the country?”
“We need to check in on the place”
You’re not alone if you’ve been reluctant to consider opportunities too far away from Australia’s major capital cities.
You’re not giving yourself enough credit
You’ve seen and experienced how much is possible to do online. You’ve adapted to changes, despite much of it being forced on us.
Well, I want to let you know if you’re even slightly open to the idea of moving or investing – regionally or interstate – we have a proactive acquisition team who regularly scout for great opportunities across Australia.
Families are moving
Right now Domain.com tells us there’s a mass exodus from Victoria and NSW – into Queensland. Our team is helping more families than usual to invest – or move – to the sunny state. My family have just moved to the Sunshine Coast ourselves.
Perhaps you’re not ready to consider moving or investing interstate. Consider regional areas. News.com.au reports there’s an exodus from cities to regional areas as fear of future lockdowns forces Aussies to move away from the cities.
Technology and a strong network of reputable, professional contacts are how we help families easily find and buy great properties to invest or move – in regional areas or interstate.
Not everyone is ready to embrace opportunities. Are you?
Are you ready to consider getting more from your money – and your lifestyle – than you can get in your city?
If you want to invest: Better capital gains? Lower vacancy rates so your place will be constantly tenanted?
If you want to move: Gorgeous lifestyle locations near beaches and every convenience a short walk away?
