Last week one of our new and inexperienced investors said to me:

“Nick, I just want to wait to see what happens with the election and the market with everything that is going on.”

And on the very same day I had one of our experienced and successful investors ring me and say:

“Nick, who knows what is going to happen as a result of this election, what can I do right now to improve my position with the current rules as we know it?”

The difference here is no other than a NEED FOR URGENCY.

In a research study, 40% of adults discovered procrastination had caused them personal financial loss within the last year (“Validation of an Adult Inventory of Procrastination” paper by W. McCown and J. Johnson).

That’s right, people have experienced financial LOSS due to a lack of urgency.

According to some researchers, the lack of urgency has more than quadrupled in the last 30 years.

There is always going to be things happening.

Always.

For instance:

The Reserve bank could change interest rates (even though they haven’t since August 2016 – setting a new record).

The local government in an area you wish to buy in may change their planning rules.

An industry (such as mining) may have a downturn.

The point I am trying to make is you need to take URGENT action. Informed action.

There are great opportunities in this big country of ours. If you are in the position to invest right now, you are fortunate to be able to take advantage of these through a sensible, solid, and safe property investment strategy.

HERE are three questions you NEED to ALWAYS consider:

  1. What is your motivation for investing in property?
Maybe you would like a better lifestyle, go on a big family holiday or have a beach house in the future.
  2. What would investing do for you personally?
Maybe improve your cash flow to help get out of credit card debt or retire early.
  3. If you were to receive the result you desire, how would that make you feel?
Close your eyes for a moment and think about it. Does it make you feel happy? Excited? Grateful? Safe?

If you have any of these feelings, take action.

Don’t let procrastination cause you financial LOSS from NOT TAKING ACTION.

Speak with a professional and get advice if you need.

In the words of one of the most successful companies of all time…

Just do it!
